Are you still looking for a cool summer activity that allows you to enjoy the nature while burning off some energy? The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena has got something for you: the new climbing park in Biberwier.

The climbing park is idyllically located in the heart of the forest and offers the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. Experience the soothing freshness of nature, the aromatic scent of the trees and the cheerful chirping of birds as you climb through the trees and master the obstacles.

Fun for young and old, climbing with a view of the Zugspitze

With a total of 60 exciting exercises spread over six courses with different levels of difficulty, everyone - young or old, beginner or professional - will find their own personal challenge here. From simple balancing routes to challenging climbing sections and exciting zip lines, there is something exciting for everyone. The facility is equipped with the latest safety precautions so that you can enjoy the experience and the overwhelming nature to the full.
 

Interesting facts

Good to know: The advanced and clever safety system contains carabiners that are in contact with each other to prevent accidental release.

By the way: If you are afraid of heights, you can sign up for guided high-altitude climbing training on request. Together with a certified rope park employee, you will be carefully familiarized with the unfamiliar height from a psychological point of view.

Getting there and information on the surrounding area: Parking is available in the gravel parking lot below the Hotel My Tirol. There is located also the “MyTirol” bus stop.  The valley station of the Marienbergbahn cable car, the Biberwier summer toboggan run and the mountain cart routes are also nearby.

Climbing on the Tyrolean side of the Zugspitze

The climbing park in Biberwier is by far not the only thing you can do in the vertical plane in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. Climbing aficionados will also feel right at home on the various via ferratas of the region. And in case the weather doesn’t quite play along with your plans, you should visit the indoor climbing gym in Ehrwald. No matter what you decide on: You can definitely have lots of fun high above the ground on the Tyrolean side of the Zugspitze.

The indoor climbing hall in Ehrwald is a perfect all-weather alternative for climbers in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena.

A total of four via ferratas in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena let climbers achieve their much desired adrenaline rushes.
